The Greatest Waste

“The greatest waste in the world is the difference between what we are and what we could become.” – Ben Herbster

Waste No Time

“Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.” – Og Mandino

Travel More, Worry Less

I’ve always been that person that wasn’t able to sit still in class or never wanted to just “chill” all the time. I wanted adventure. I wanted that feeling of freedom.

Don’t you ever want to just get out of the house to go for a walk or to just get some fresh air because that’s me constantly. It’s one of the reasons I am probably one of the most stress free people you’ll ever meet.

I’m human so obviously its not the antidote for stress reliever but it definitely does help a ton. Traveling and adventuring are such an important factor in my life that if something ever came up where I wasn’t able to do that anymore, I’d probably go crazy.

It also helps to have friends that will go with ya and share that experience. Trust me, sometimes I feel like I have to literally drag someone with me to get me out of my apartment.

I’m so annoying sometimes cause I just constantly want to be out doing something… You can sleep when you’re dead I always say. I love the quotes when they talk about how when you think of yourself at the end of your life, are you going to be proud of it? Are you going to know you lived it to the complete fullest?

For me, I don’t want to wast any days or minutes because in the end, time goes by so fast that I don’t want to end up with regrets. Now I’m not saying skip that nap because you didn’t get enough sleep the night before and you don’t want to waste a minute.. Chill. I just think its good to grasp every opportunity like it’s your last.

People always ask the question, if money weren’t an object, what would you do? And I think this question truly reflects who you are as a person and makes you think. It took me a while to come up with an answer but after those few minutes of thinking, I thought, wow am I really thinking this hard about this?

If money weren’t an object, I would use it to travel the world and see every inch of it. Not just the touristy destinations, not just the big cities, everywhere. I want to experience what God has created and meet the people that could change my life or the way I think about it.

Don’t you ever wonder what every inch of the world looks like? I am so curious to see the way people live their lives differently from mine. Whether it’s better or worse, I want to know.

There are so many things around us that we don’t appreciate or even notice because we are too busy being on our phones or worrying about where we are going to end up. It’s a huge time waster.

The more you’re thinking about what you want your life to be in the next 5 years, the less time you’re actually experiencing it.

Quit thinking and start doing. Take as many risks as you can. I saw this picture on twitter and I absolutely fell in love.

Don’t wait. Plan out your next adventure now because time is going to pass anyways, you might as well make use of it.
